Day 2 O Porrino to Arcade 14.5 miles It looked like rain all morning, but we lucked out and didn't get wet. As a result it was cool and a little breezy until the afternoon when the clouds lifted and the sun came out. We kept putting on and taking off our windbreaker. The little village where we are staying is on the edge of Ria de Vigo, an enormous river that looks more like a lake- beautiful views through the valley down to the shore. Eric looked a bit like the dead parrot in Monty Python and we feared he wouldn't survive the night. Feathers littered the deck and the food and water were left untouched......however he flew off the next morning, leaving even more poo on Dawson's decks!

We will be leaving Bayona tomorrow morning but I'll let you know about our trip to Santiago de Compostela in the next blog ( if the skipper gives me the time off.)
