... so no pics will do it justice (I took video though). So instead of a snow pic, I have attached a special photo I took today at the zoo.
Then after that excitement I got the funicular up to the fortress and my battery died after 3 photos so they are not very good but it was worth it to get a video of the Pumas.
Now am hoping for some sun tomorrow which is my last day in Salzburg. I wanna see those magnificent mountains.

Mozartsteg; his birthplace; his residence; shops selling Mozartkugel (scrummy chocs); Mozart Cafe, and that iconic wigged head & shoulder pic in the red jacket, appearing in all kinds of shops and eateries. Then, of course, there is the music... in the right season, there are some fabulous Music festivals, but now it's all Wolfgang's Greatest Hits at a hefty price, and while I was in the mood for live music, I wasn't prepared to pay ...

Although no snow, I'm almost as excited about the prospect of seeing some sun tomorrow, as I have not seen one bit of sun since I left Sydney. The last tiny patch of blue sky I saw poking through clouds was in London, but haven't seen the orb since I left home. I'm doing the touristy places tomorrow so hopefully I will have some amazing views ahead of me.
Final morning blues descend as we meet up for breakfast. Whilst we all want to make the most of these last few hours in Salzburg, we are all too aware that we must return to Hotel Elefant to checkout at 11:30. Ma and Pa Lee are off to check out St Peter's, and Mr Fletche and I head for the funicular to take us up to the fortress.
