A week in Salzburg and a snow storm

... It's crazy! Well at least for people who've spent the last week eating lunch at 330 and suddenly found themselves sans food and rather hungry.

We did find ourselves a lovely pub and enjoyed lunch and warmth before going out to play in the snow. The car park across from the pub was covered in what definitely looked like more then 40cm. Mum and I made snow angels and just generally played around in it.

... off little blasts here and there. When midnight finally rolled around boy did the skies light up with fireworks all over the place! It was just brilliant. The snow had finally stopped falling, it was -2 degrees and mum and I danced in the snow welcoming in the new year. ... were narrow streets filled with touristy shops and restaurants. We got some amazing hot chocolate from a chocolatiers there which was caramel flavour, yum! There were things referencing Mozart everywhere, not sure why but if you ever want a miniature violin this is the place to get one. At this location we saw the church (Basilica minor of St. Michael) where Maria and the captain get married in in the movie (although in reality they were married in Nonnberg Abbey). The weather on our trip has been glorious. Most of our destinations have greeted us with fine sunshiny day app with little wind and cool, crisp air.  The last couple or days have been a little different to this.
