This small, family-run hotel is my idea of how to experience a worthwhile destination. It is not posh, but it is clean and well maintained and friendly. Location in the tiny Swiss alpine village of Lauterbrunnen gives you access to trains and gondolas and funiculars up into some of the most spectacular mountain views in the Alps. And the dinners were outstanding.
