0600h We walk to the bull pen and can hear the bells jangling. We walk the route of the bull run which is quiet at the moment. The cobblestones are wet and slippery. We check out dead mans corner.

... keep going. We went to the pension but I didn't like the fact that for the price we would be sharing a bathroom with other pilgrims. We decided to stay at the municipal alberque and checked in. This turned out to be a mistake. It was certainly a disappointment compared to our experience in Roncevalles.

Tonight we enjoyed a great pilgrim's meal at the local bar, 6 Euros. So it is to bed by 10:00pm as we need to be up and on our way by 7:30. Good ...
