So today Cameron and I took a jog to Deusto. I was dying. He was 10x a better runner than me. We then met up and climbed then hill to see the statue of Jesus. My legs are dead. I have never in my entire life climbed up hills that steep. The dogs are different here than in America. Dogs here are mostly small dogs more seen as an accessory I would say. Always wearing coats paired next to stylish women. On our hike we saw a man kick the ball off this very steep ledge and about had a ...

So timing was critical and with the long wait for the bags plus the very slow cab ride into town the anxiety was high.

Phil and I arrived at Gare Montparnasse at 10:25 for ...

... the same clothes since St Jean, well you get the idea. Dinner in this town, population about 450, was a real treat - we all had soup or salad starters, mom had lamb stew with rice, dad and I had a white fish, Al had Wiener schnitzel, plus dessert. After a 10 hour hiking day with steep ascents and particularly descents we were all in a great mood in spite of our sore knees and tired backs. We happily walked back to the Pension and quickly fell ...

... with this combination of history, comfort, and beauty. My specific room was blessed with a full on view of the Bay. With the window open I could hear the ocean. I could lay in bed and gaze directly out to France to the east. Imagine my delight when I awoke and opened my eyes to the most beautiful sunrise over the Pyrenees with the shimmering reflection on the water.

I am very blessed. Jesus was with me in San Sebastian as you can ...
