We were on somewhat of a deadline this morning. I had arranged to meet Phil and Louise at Gare de Lyon so the girls could catch the TGV down to Avignon. Phil and I had to then head to Gare Montparnasse to get the TGV to meet the rest of the guys at St.Jean de Luz. So timing was critical and with the long wait for the bags plus the very slow cab ride into town the anxiety was high.

... fire in San Sebastian when everything burnt down except one street. So everyone was out going crazy, especially in the bars on that street. We joined the crazy people and headed out for a 'Pintxos crawl' with some of the people from the bus. (Pintxos are the local cuisine here quite similar to tapas).
