... seems a bit more relaxed than Bayonne's, as I think this is a party town all year round, so that don't really need to fire it up much more for their Fiesta. The city is all about the beach and the food it seems. From about 10am onwards the beach is lined with people of all ages walking the about 6km up and back along the beach. There is loads of room in the morning with a massively changing tide being out, then mid afternoon it comes in and the thousands ...

... I had dinner with from Ibiza thought exactly the same as me so I called the waitress to ask if coffee was included in the 9€. The answer was no but she didn't even ask if I wanted one! I asked two Canadians if they were going all the way to Santiago to which they said yes. I then went on to say that they would love the food in Galicia. To my surprise she asked "as good as here?" "100 times better" I said. So tomorrow onto a 21km stage to ...

... us. Wine and spirits are extra. Sounds too easy!! I feel myself relax, I can handle this deal. It is like a degustation of delicacies. First up is frozen goat cheese snow sprinkled with sardine flakes with olives filled with martini jelly. I take photos of the food. This is amazing and tastes sensational. We also try pickled pork with a frozen mexican chili chocolate sauce, a mini wagu burger with banana chips, cod on a base of red pepper, salad with orange, linseed and salmon, ...
