Evelyn could not do enough for us, we have maps showing us the best places to eat and shop and making sure we are happy with everything our rooms have a little balcony and you can leave your balcony doors open even when you go out.     ... very friendly and helpful until he squashed his finger, not sure how but he was not a happy chappy anymore.
    Florida Hotel is in our very own lane way. Not much to look at up high but a lazy cat next door nd a very tall tree to break up the roofs. Lady who runs the hotel, Ruth what's her name?, is very helpful had maps and instructions and all the good Greek restaurants close by mapped ...

However, my favourite parts were an abandoned hospital (I think), which was appropriately creepy and atmospheric and another abandoned villa, which it turned out from subsequent investigation, is actually a villa built for Mussolini, during the Italian occupation. Apparently, Mussolini wanted to retire to rhodes, which obviously didn't pan out due to something to do with world war 2.
