    The campsite we stayed in in Rugat was interesting for a number of different reasons. Firstly it had its own lake with a good selection of water fowl, a heathly population of red squirrels, and a workforce almost entirely British.     ... unusable, and, as if that is not bad enough, it keeps on dropping the connection every five minutes or so. I have a Spanish Orange SIM card, to use with my Huawei Mobile Wifi (MiFi), but, whilst it worked very well in the Cadiz area, here, it is too slow to allow uploading of photographs, use of Skype etc.

    ... to check out the local market. It was fun to walk around and check out the local fresh produce, fish, etc., including the legs of ham which are popular here, and served as thin slices on bread as tapas, which are delicious.

    We spent the afternoon in the pool back at Anika and Nolan's, lapping up the spanish sun and loving it! We had a most interesting evening at a restaurant in a 14th century ...

    ... snack were the solar boat docks during the season.

    Finally we continued on through a rougher part of the trail...forging one stream via some stepping stones until we were on the long uphill climb back to Beriardá.

    Of course the walk is never complete without a stop for a cool drink and a little more conversation.

    We enjoyed seeing Guadalest from a new direction!
