... to enjoy a potato on a stick. We wandered our way into Lesser town and stopped for a beer at a restaurant built under a bridge. The canal ran to the side of us with a water wheel near by. It was cold outside and lots of restaurants/pubs with outside seating will put blankets on the chairs if guests want to wrap up. I took full advantage of this as I only wore a long sleeve shirt, no jacket. I got a Kirkwood apple cider; it was delicious, ...

The cathedral, which is within the castle grounds is ...

... with me if I hadn't. Much, much walking was done for the better part of the day, including walking across the Charles Bridge squashed in with all the other thousands of tourists determined to do the same thing. Prague is well known for pick pockets, day and night, who get into the crowds and jostle then pickpocket, so that brought a bit more excitement to the walking. Also bringing excitement was the lunch stop that Rosemary, Lee, ...

Had an awful sleep last night. My room mates felt like talking till well after midnight, I didn't mind too much because it was too hot to sleep, but I found them rather boring Americans. Nice, but boring. We had to leave the windows open because there was no air con. Only problem was the room was then full of ticks. With the windows open we could here everything on the street, even with ear plugs. At one point there was a guy screaming his lungs ...
