It was a very good day, we enjoyed their hospitality and were very lucky to see more of the Czech that the average tourist would not see.
Since we were not hungry when we returned to Prague we decided to walk up the 400 steps at the Old Town Hall Tower to get a beautiful nighttime view of Prague, well worth the ...

Rest day in Prague We had a full day in Prague today so followed on some of the spots we missed yesterday evening. After a quick breaky at a Boulangerie we walked across the river and up the streets to Prague Castle on the hill. Bit colder today and it was the first time Rob has worn any sort of shirt with long sleeves. Not too many people out yet so Charles Bridge was a lot easier to view on the way through. The castle encompasses quite a few churches and chapels, ...

I’m so glad we decided to return to Prague for a few extra days. We knew there were things we had missed that we wanted to see, and this time the weather (and my teeth!) played nice! Poor Mikey had a few tummy issues, but I won’t go into that! This time around we stayed at a hotel right in the centre of the old town (the Flora apartment through Airbnb had a 4 night minimum), but it was nice being so close to everything, and to see a different side of the city.
