... then we found a local place to sit and have a beer for Dad and I while Mum had a honey wine from a local stall. Off to dinner, I wanted to try something local, so I chose the 1/2 duck which came with red cabbage and dumplings, it was really nice though there was a lot of duck! By the time we got back to the apartment it was about 2230 and I was ready for bed after a big day. Off to Vienna tomorrow on the train for a few days until Sunday ...

... Jess and Rowan. It was a lot of fun and I met a bunch of cool people. I also tried absinthe for the first time last night. I don't know what I was expecting to taste like... But I was surprised. It was almost ouzo like. Other notes... I think I got a spider bite on my finger. We finally got some rain! I'm going to Berlin tonight! I've been traveling for over a month already! ... that looked good but we decided to choose something casual and relaxed. We found a Mexican restaurant not too far away, but once we eventually (after taking a wrong turn at Alberquerque) found it, it was full with more people queued waiting for tables. ... to the famous hofbrauhaus, the most famous beer hall. It was really happening in there! The traditional Bavarian music was in full swing and lots of singing and clapping happening. Really cool atmosphere! We each ordered a stein of beer and got the necessary photos.
