I moved here from Cordoba thinking it would be quieter than either of the cities I lived and worked in, but it has much night life and the appearance of a city like Ipanema, where the beaches face the tall hotels and buildings of the city.

... br>Bei meinem Besuch war Low Season, die Strände gehörten einigen unerschrockenen Badenden, passionierten Anglern, streunenden Hunden und vielen Surfern; in den guten Restaurants herschte kein Gedränge und der Strassenverkehr war normal-argentinisch chaotisch.
Unzählige schöne Sandstrände erstrecken sich sowohl in südlicher, wie auch in nördlicher Richtung.

En el fin día, nosotros fuimos a la Buenos Aires otra vez. Esta tiempo, nosotros fuimos a la playa, Mar del Plata. La Playa esta a muchos kilometros de largo. Es lo muy famoso y popular. Fuimos bronceado y nadando en el mar. Para almuezo, nosotros fuimos al restaraunte Heladeria Necochea. Era lo muy bueno. Te recomiedo que tu comprar un sandwich o un hamberguesa. Era delicioso! Tiene lo muchos dulces, helado, y chocolate!!! Despues almuerzo, tomemos un taxi al aeropuerto!

... the town itself was almost desert. The season was over, more than half of the stores were closed, nobody in the streets, it was really strange. And there's nothing to do outside of the beach, which is covered with little sunshades for which you had to pay, so nothing very interesting. I also spent half a day looking for postcards without finding any. Let's just say that after a long walk on the waterfront I had nothing else to do, so I took the bus again.

Carolina aussi est sympa mais c'est une pile electrique, elle ne tient pas en place... ca a un avantage, en 4 jours elle m'emmenera dans beaucoup d'endroits et me presentera a bon nombre de ses ami(e)s. Des le premier jour, nous partons passer le WE dans la maison de campagne de l'une d'elles. Grosse fete pendant 2 jours, barbecue en veux-tu en voila, je re-apprend a faire des bracelets bresiliens entre autres ...

Don´t even think about coming to a nice and sandy beach when you come to Mar Del Plata before mid January. I would say you can expect a desert full of unbrellas with noon on the beach. But the beach walk is nice and amazing view. Make sure to check out the seals on the port where the wreck ships are. They definitely worth the visit. Also try any of the ...

... in the world where we met Steve, the ray fish. Sunburn from that 20 minutes on the beach was starting to show. We wandered back to the hostel and left to get our bus. Semi Cama is a good way to travel, we were offered wine and champagne and the seats were very comfortable. Films were appropriate too and not too bad, they passed the time anyway (18 hours is a lot of time to pass on a bus). I managed to get a good night sleep too. Next stop : Patagonia!

... there was nothing wrong so off we went again. airlines could learn a thing or two from these buses, they are very comfy with leg rests and dvds playing. anyhow, arrived and found a cheap hotel, with my own bathroom this time. what luxury! mar del plata is a seaside resort town but since its off season (in fact in was the first day of spring whilst i was in Buenos aires, a fact that florists seemed particularly keen ...
