      Vandaag een heel korte rit van Bardolino naar Veroma.
      Dit is eigenlijk meer te beschouwen als een rustdag. Vanmorgen vroeg vertrokken en de 35 km afgeraffeld.
      In de wirwar van straten en met behulp van Google maps het hotel redelijk snel gevonden al blijft de dame links zeggen als het gebouw toch echt rechts staat.

      ... stop was the amphitheater a truly spectacular sight where they still perform opera and ballet. They really built things to last here!!! Final stop in Verona was the Giardino Giusti gardens which were created at the end of the 15th century and from the top offer a beautiful panorama of Verona. All in all I think Verona has been the place I have enjoyed the most in Italy. Off to Switzerland ...

      ... to the castel San pietro. The views were stunning the sun was beating down and I even had to take off my coat. Then we headed for the bell tower the torre dei lamberti to climb the 366 steps to the top. Although I didn't make it quite to the very top Nick had to leave me where the bells were because you could see through the final steps to the ground below and it freaked me out!! Not a great lover of heights. Off to the bar now for a well earned ...
