Good location for a train traveler not too far from the old city. Good service.

As we had checked out the train stn. yesterday and purchased our tickets (8 euros) we were feeling confident all was well. Ha! Arrived 45 minutes early, just in case, to learn there were 2 trains to Verona and our ticket didn't differentiate. To make matters worse, the info booth was packed with people and the ticket sellers were no where to be …

Up at 5.30 & off to return the car at 7.00. Finally arrived at Gatwick airport at 7.30 & the plane left at 10.15 for Verona. Between not having done a ton of riding the last couple months and all the additional weight on my bike, I knew I wasn't going to be able to get through another 120km day.

... and we mentioned Seattle, the owner said that he knows Rick Steves who indeed has visited his restaurant. Very proudly he brought out his tablet to show us the video clip. Wine was poured with a very unique aerator that is hand blown glass from Italy. When Kathy asked where we might get one the owner said he would sell us one. Another souvenir of our trip!

Verona has been a lovely stop and one to recommend for a short stay en route to Venice.
