The aquarium also had some toucans and parrots, for you to pose with, but I didn't.
Other than the aquarium there is nothing else in Veracruz, the museum was closed as was the cathedrale, it is a port town, there was 2 navy ships in port, but no nice men in uniform!
Can't wait to leave Veracruz, a get on with the travels.

Day 9: Veracruz to US - Adios a Mexico
This morning we met incredibly early in the lobby of our hotel at 4:00 a.m. We had all our luggage and gear ready to go. There was no time for breakfast. We handed in our evaluation sheets to Anna before we left for the airport. Both Anna and Katie drove us there.
Anna talked to each of us about how we did and gave us some stickers. She stayed until we were checked in for our flights. Mandy, Carol and I sat around in the airport ...

... going wrong with those two (Kyah was sick, tires of their bus popped etc. etc.) so I dont think they had to much fun, but for us three it was great and our first time travelling completely alone since weve been here.
The next weekend (being the seasoned latin american travellers that we are) we went to Mexico city for a few days which was also alot of fun. But to be honest since that was like a month ago I dont even remember much of it. Ahh screw this ...
The road that should be less traveled!
We left Bonitto Inn around 9 am, a little later than we had hoped. Luckily we made it through the night and didn’t get kicked out because of the scraggly unwanted dogs. The bad thing is that we really had no idea where we were or how to get back to the main highway (since we stumbled upon our new room for rent in a hurried frenzy before dark). We walked over to the reception office and Nina gave them her best rehearsed Spanish phrase ...
