Shorter driving days now we're virtually in Southern Spain, so we were in Benidorm by lunch. Saw our first Big Black bull on the side of the road. There are loads around, but that’s the first we’ve seen this trip and Penny has them on her mind as she’s just been reading about the Brandy factory and the Bulls used to advertise it (think we’ll be visiting and sampling some when we get to Cadiz).

Now housing this wonderful display that you can view from the elevated walkways around the perimeter as well as across from either side. We have pre booked and paid for a visit to ...

A visit to Benidorm

And nearly all the people I saw were older than 70years old. ...

We went to the long sandy beach I had spotted yesterday from the tram. When we were getting ready at home, I looked at the map. It looked really simple, but it turned to not too easy. I like sandy beaches more than the rocky ones. I think it is more fun playing in the sand rather than carefully walking on the small rocks not to fall. There was a tram track right along beach. I through that it was really cool ...

... view of the town, the sea and surroundings from the path. We finally made it up to the castle. It was very big. The view for the top of the castle was very nice too. As it was getting late, we hurried back down the path to the tram stop back to home. We were down in seconds! We took the same tram home. I researched about the castle when I got back home. It had an interesting history, like used as a prison, occupied by Britsh, and fight with Moslim people and so ...
