      ... day we took it a bit more leisurely and walked about 4 miles around the nature reserve and floral park which was close to our site.

        ... missed walking up the towers but Liyana came over and we had wine and she cooked us some confit duck out of a can! It was amazing we fired up some potatoes in duck fat as well it was the best meal ever! We stayed up late talking and catching up, it was great to see her again I'm so glad that we were able to make it down to Bordeaux and see her I just wish we could have stayed ...

      ... or air BnB to drop off our bags then head in to town to meet Liyana for dinner, we walk through the streets and Liyana tells us about Bordeaux. We have dinner at this cute little restaurant by the cathedral the food is amazing, then we head to the theatre and the square where there is a carnival in town we wander around a bit before jumping on the tram back to the air ...

      ... Photos and words cannot do it justice and I am confident it is the best place I have ever stayed, and not for being flash or anything but just being totally natural. Here is the link to it.       ... toll to mark significant events in the city such as the start of the grape-picking season , to alert citizens of danger, fire etc. and major celebrations.   St. André's -  Bordeaux's main cathedral - it is stunningly beautiful, with two elegant spheres, an amazing rose-window, and above the entrance detailed sculptures show important events in Christianity's history.
