    ... botanical gardens and other end of town. Fabulous dance party on board tonight with French specialty buffet. I tried the snails (like mushrooms but with a mussel like texture Not bad at all.     ... tourist office. Paid $7.50Euro each for the underground tour. Town named after St Emilion who founded the town in 800 AD and lived in a cave as a hermit. The church is underground, in limestone and was excavated from the top. And the tower added around 1200? Lots of hills and cobblestones lane ways wine shops everywhere and so scenic and peaceful. Bought a bottle of Rose and will sleep well ...

    ... We are docked right in town yes it's old but personally I preferred Spain and Portugal more character we are here again tomorrow then another day at sea then St Malone France. Weather here is hot in the 30s and days are long sunrise at 6.15 and sunset at 9.50. Sitting on our balcony having a cuppa and reading yes have read 2 books so far the view in front of us is typical French terraces with rought iron balconies and at bottom ...
