... time walking around. I would have loved to have spent longer here as it looked a really interesting town but unfortunately time would not allow. We made it back to the boat just in time as we were the last lot back on board . Tonight was the last night movie we would be watching . As we had had such a long day David said he had selected a short movie for us. it was his silent movie Buster Keaton's The navigator. It tells the story of two people stranded on a cruise ship on their own ...

Finally it was a walk east around the coast to Elafonisi. It was meant to take 5-6 hours. Well 9 hours later, with a very swollen and sore ankle, I made it. Against all odds I made it to Falasarna, the last "must-see" destination on my list. I have a couple of other nice-to-haves, and a vague idea that I want to dip my body in each of Crete's four shores--west, south, east, north--but this was the last real destination.

I woke up bright and early and made it to the rental place at 7AM. Rented my motorcycle, a yellow BMW, and headed out. I made an absolute mad ...

We appreciated the accommodation to change our schedule to better fit the forecast for hiking. However, the tour ended up being quite different than we expected based on what Margarita indicated following her conversation with Asimina Tours to make the arrangements. We understood the meal would be at a monastery, although we thought the activities would remain largely the same.
    In the end, ...
