The drive back to Chania didn't take long, we headed for the sports area with the sandy coves. When we arrived it was busy with people taking their daily exercise, walkers some with dogs, some with prams, joggers and cyclists were completing circuits if the park. We went for a walk up over the headland following a path that weaved in between boulders and shrubs, we could see some people swimming in the cove it looked very inviting. The washing was almost dry as we moved back indoors to cook tea and plan where to go to tomorrow. We were expecting more rain in the evening, but the sky is quite ...

... storm. We stopped outside, there were a couple if campers parked inside but only a small gate was open. Les walked in to investigate, the reception was closed up.He returned soaked, We sat and wondered wether to just open the other gate and drive in, just as Les got out again to see if there was anyone in the other campers, the owner arrived. He was happy for us to stay and would only charge 5 euros per night. Once we were parked I walked over to the on site cafe to use the wifi, the ...
