... for a piece of the skyline. Towns in Argentina and Chile follow a grid network of one-way streets which are confusingly named after important dates in the country's history; take a wrong turn down 25 de Mayo instead of 9 de Julio and you'll end up going round in circles and never leave. The grid network I recognised as I took a taxi from the bus station, but one thing was new: the narrow one-way streets I was familiar with were here replaced ...

... there is an open grill area with a special chef that is separate from the main kitchen. This chef cooks the most tender and delicious meats over the open-flamed grill and you'll see in the photos that the serving sizes are more than generous. Of course we had to have more Malbec wine to accompany every steak! Raiders of the Lost Ark Josh here...so I think Mar Del Plata was where I had the best coffee in South America. Still not as good as the perfect flat ...

... bag who if a horse she would just take out on the street and shoot in the head. Then again, she still might:)) My knee is gone, so is my back and upon arrival I fell coming downstairs (of course) and my right ankle is twice its size. Hey ho, if I get to the stage where I can't walk, sipping coffee and reading a good book or watching the world go by is far more interesting in SA than in Brisbane.

We got up fairly early and headed to the nice beach we visited a few days ago. The weather was a little overcast this morning but was forecast to brighten up later in the afternoon. This would be our last day here in Mar del Plata before going to Buenos Aires. We got on the local bus after having another hostel breakfast, typical bread and jam, then walked from there to a good spot on the beach. It was fairly earlier so there wasn't many people ...

... cost when we could go to one closer for a lot cheaper. and would have to wait an hour for the next one. Whats more the weather at this point was over cast, some times it does clear up in the afternoon but we thought if i didn't we would have spent quite abit of money for a pointless day at the beach. We headed back to the hostel and on the way it started to rain so it turned out to be a good decision after all. ...
