      Waking up in a small village in the hills above Roma, the sun just rising above the hills, just beautiful! We're on the road by 9 as its a pretty big drive planned for today. We are heading across the width of Italy from just outside Roma to the Adriatic coast. At first we pass through rolling hills dotted with small villages, but soon were climbing higher up the alps. Venice is located in a lagoon and the locals moved further into the lagoon to escape Attila the Hun.
