... out. Then we went to the little round church that was built in the 12th century that is thought to have been erected by the Knights Templar. This is actually a functioning church today with a very unique design consisting of a large pillar right in the center. Outside is a lovely cemetery and gardens.

... here? There isn't a great deal in tits history although during the war it was seen as a strategic spot. You could see the whole place in about 90 minutes, so why stop here. Still not sure of the answer. For the first time today we dropped anchor and had to travel ashore by tender. ... zoomed along at 7 knots or more and been here in something like just over 4 hours and we would have been exhilarated, not tired and tetchy. That’s sailing for you.

Tomorrow the wind direction will be much the same. However, we are gluttons for punishment so unless the forecast changes overnight to something worse, we will try again to either get to Kåseberga or better still, a bit further west to Ystad. Watch this ...
