Thanks to Kenneth we saved about 3 hours by travelling by train and ferry from Zealand to Germany instead of all the way around by train through Jutland. Talking of ferries reminds me that when we were up at Kronburg Castle the ferries cross from there to Sweden every 20 mins and in the fog they have to cross the paths of all the heavy ships using the Oresund Strait to the Baltic ( the East Sea to Scandinavians).

The term "mini" could lure a person into thinking this was more of a preparatory drop, like when we say "mini vault" at gymnastics when referring to the soft, squishy blocks that can be assembled to varying heights for the 4 - 8 year olds. There were clowns of course (we couldn't understand them but I’m sure what they said was funny), amazing trapeze artists, a roller-skating act that took me back to my childhood, a guy who could do some truly jaw-dropping juggling with soccer balls, a love story on a square of parallel bars between three guys and a girl, again taking me back to my younger years, a couple of strong men wearing jocks ...

... but we thought that we would first try the Karstadt department store that we had seen last night near the Hauptbahnhof (main train station ) last night. They had the wrong type of cylinder so we plotted a route to the camping shop. This is a very nice shop with lots of interesting things, including the correct cylinders. ... and the tiny group of Paderborn supporters were much louder than the clear majority of Hamburg supporters. The Bundesliga is huge here in Germany, although Bayern München and Borussia Dortmund are the bigger teams. On the plus side we got to see some goals and I tried out Steffie's telezoom lens on Sport Mode, which wasn't bad at all!
