... ever before, our luggage was also there so we headed off to pick up our Alamo rental car. Even that was a cinch. Not even 15 minutes and we had our jeep loaded and headed off to Cape Coral. But alas not everything was easy. We needed over an hour to reach Alligator Alley. The I-75 North was one huge traffic jam which caused us to travel an extra hour. After some online reconnaissance we ventured into the city today for a look around. We drove to a local train station and had no trouble buying day passes from a vending machine for €6 each. Parking was a little drama - the 'park n ride' we drove into closed at 9pm and there was a chance we'd be back later than that. Back on our tour, as we walked along the street away from the Rathaus, Adrian pointed out a church that had bright red and dark black coloured bricks in a scattered pattern. The dark black bricks are bricks that were used to rebuild the church after the bombing and fires in Hamburg.
