... a lot of history and the buildings are old. Its interesting to note that in spite of the city having been severely bombed by the allies during the war, the three cathedrals, which sport tall spires, were never hit or damaged. Must be a divine force at work.

Holland is done, and now its time to move on. I needed to have a business meeting in Hamburg, Germany and so we packed up and hit the road. The trip was fairly uneventful apart from a mistake by "The ***** in the Box"....Garmin to some.....when she failed to tell us about some road works just outside Gronigen in Holland. These road works had closed the road and there were no signs giving us an alternative route. ...

... all electricals in the morning if there's anything left! We chose our spot then headed out for a wander. Prego loved the freedom after being cooped up for a long journey.
