... than Iowa bars. When "Thrift Shop" came I, I nearly jumped out of my skin and proudly danced and rapped to the entire song. Yes, this is how the Americans do it!

Everyday, I learn something new about myself. Everyday, I feel happy and fulfilled. Everyday, I change. I wake up in the morning without the slightest clue what I'll do that day or who I will meet and having such freedom, is completely indescribable. I will continue to make each day count. SkŚl!

Being that it has been fairly cold here (less than 50 degrees F), we've needed to buy jackets for everyone; so today it was off to the mall in heart of LuleŚ to look for more jackets, hats and etc. The prices are similar to home and with back to school sales, you can do quite well. ... the first train is late (like ours was).
A bus will meet most (maybe all) trains at the Kemi station, but more services depart from the Kemi bus station about 100 meters away. Follow the street signs. It cost E5.9 per person, and will go all the way to Haparanda station in Sweden. The bus from Haparanda departs regularly for Lulea, and cost SWK155 per person. See for times. From Lulea you can take a train south to Stockholm, or north to Kiruna.

... It is also a UNESCO World Heritage site. ( ) Gammelstad was packed with families-Dads giving piggy-back rides, pregnant moms with picnic baskets, and children with crowns of flowers in their hair. We saw women in traditional dress, horse drawn buggies, farm animals, fields of wildflowers, musicians, and lines for traditional food. Kyle with his raging appetite got in line. He paid ...
