          Today we did abut more of looking around and going out of different Hotels and checking out the different interiors and exteriors of the buildings. We stopped for drinks and food and did a little more of the above before going to the cinemas to watch "The Visit" then we headed back to our hotel for a rest.           Now, we have had everything.. as low as 6 degrees at Lake Tahoe in the mountains, up to 30 degrees on the coast and 45 degrees when we drove through the Mojave desert on our way to Las Vegas.
          Sometimes it is really hard to adjust to such temperature differences within the same day or even within a few hours.

          ... in the Route 66 train stop in an actual train car! Then we were on the road again and saw some strange weather phenomenon like a random rain storm about 1/4 mile wide in the middle of the desert and a dust devil which looked like a mini tornado whirling up a deserted road. We eventually made it to Southern California and lots of windy roads to Legoland. Joe tortured the boys by telling them they were made of Legos. Max was not amused!! Legoland. ...
