So, we are now in beautiful Korcula, an island filled with pine and olive trees. We woke up a bit later than usual as we are already on island time. Things are slower here and even the locals don't move as fast. We decided to go straight to the closest konzum, which is located right across from the marina about a 5 minute walk down a narrow alley filled with stone stairs. ... a local family restaurant , Konoba where all the ingredients are local and everything is cooked on sight. What a feast it was! From a plate of cheeses, bread, dips and prosciutto to start, 4 variations of pasta next, lamb cooked on a spit with fresh green salad and this amazing plate of shared desserts. All the wine was local too. It was a real meal of local delights.

Joe has had his dreams come true, our hosts Tonci and Lydia invited us, and a polish couple and an english couple out on their boat.We left Drasnice at 5pm and sailed to Makarska where we all had dinner and then sailed home. Was absolutey fantastic coming through all the bays in the night light.
