Spent the morning exploring a track close to where we are staying, found ourselves on a secluded beach with a nude bather! Wasn't long before we had friends. Went off the beaten track climbing rocks which were obviously old walls, some great photo opportunties!

Went and visited another couple of villages close to us - Zivogosce (don't ask me how to say it) and dropped in at Igrane. These villages all ...

Our exciting journey continues. We boarded a bus and travelled along the coastline for three hours to a small town called Orebic. The bus drove onto a ferry and cruised across a narrow waterway to the island of Korcula. (pronounced Kor-chula)
We arrived at approx 6:30pm and were met by a gentleman who walked us, in the pouring rain to our apartments. Quite cool, 18 degrees, their summer.
The island of Korcula is 47 kms long and 8 kms wide.

Anyway, the organisers had arranged for all of us to eat at a scrummy restaurant that only made traditional dishes...so fish lol. But the platters that came out were amazing! So huge! We ordered 4 platters between 12 of us and so much food was left, was just so stuffed!! Really good restaurant by the water and ...

... Gary and realised I had fallen in love for the second time………….. the wine was incredible! Luckily for Gary it transpires that Grk is only produced in very small quantities and rarely available outside of the island. I’m not sure how meaningful a relationship you can have with wine but at that moment all I knew was that I wanted more! It’s not cheap and cost more than our food but man was it worth it. If you ever get ...
