Left Kyriad Joel at 7.30 am for train at 9.00am. Took train to Marselles. *******s man made us pay 126E as we did not have seniors card. Changed at Marseilles. Very white outside. Waited for hour. Wow! Another loooooong drive day, but this one had amazing views!! We went up and over a pass, which apparently we normally wouldnt do, but Gabe, our AWEsome driver, wanted to take us the way with the views!!! And they were stunning. I really like Switzerland. Out hotel was a Marriott on one of the harbors on the edge of Monaco. At $450 per night, it was practically the slums of Monte Carlo. ... Sunday on the way from Madrid to Montpelier. I was SUPOSSED to take the 2AM train from Montpelier to Marseille to Nice. However I couldn't purchase the required ticket in Spain because it's a French train, and unfortunately the ticket office was closed when I arrived in Montpelier.
