... stores closed down because of the rain. People prefer going to malls in this type of weather. After about an hour of walking in the old streets and still soaked, I decided to walk towards the sea. As wet and cold as I was, the strong winds felt good. ... people selling their produce with a passion so of course we obliged by buying some fruit and a few pastries from a lovely young man. Rick even managed to get the gelato man to give us some ice for our drinks tonight so that just goes to show you small towns are the best even in Italy!
Our small hotel is right in the down town area and suits us well so hopefully we will have a better nights sleep and looking forward to Arles tomorrow.

You could see all the streets, houses with clothes lines, people walking on the beach, and the whole city stretching out into the sea. ... Nowhere to sit. We had a seat on the floor. Fortunately the train ride is only 20min.
