What a glorious morning we awoke to in Schwulper. Blue sky, and brilliant sunshine - apparently an extraordinary November day! I do believe that we have been blessed all along the way on this amazing trip. After a lazy morning having brunch with Werner and Lydia and packing again, we set off for Tostedt via rail from Braunschweig to Hanover to Hamburg. Arriving in Hanover, I was met by the lovely Henry and Werner (the husband of Lydia who is Henry's cousin). Werner took us back to their place in Braunschweig ...

Breakfast is followed by a visit fro Lydia's Hairdresser who is prepared to cut my hair for 9Euros before she cuts and sets Lydia’s hair.

By 9:45 Werner and I head of to visit the City centre of Braunschweig where many historic buildings and explanations await. Werner is a profound History and Art Lecturer ...

... the last three weeks, because of the lack of balance, was not an unfamiliar display of independence and unwillingness to own up to any form of inadequacies.

A ‘lovely lunch’ including a chilled local beer became the context of many questions regarding the family in Australia and the announcement that I was expected at Uncle Hans’ place at 4pm i.e after …an afternoon nap!

      Which took place where ...
