Although we dreamt and planned a lot for this journey, we never thought about the last part.
Waiting between our last two planes, we still have one question:How do you end such an overwhelming adventure before getting back to the real world of bills, plumbing problems and work but also friends, family, weekends and summerbars? I guess by putting the best pics on your screensaver and planning the next one :-)?.

    Waiting time

    This trip just begun.

I arrived at Frankfurt airport and now I'm waiting for my next fight straight to Cap town. Four hours to wait.....I enjoy the time to read more about South Africa and learn about Cap Town City.
I don't mind sitting on a plane during long hours but I'll be happy to arrive.

    See you there !

    Lots of love,

Frankfurt, on the Main River, is very cosmopolitan and sometimes called Mainhatten.

Last night we were out...dinner, movie, sights. Today, we relaxed, got a massage...and went out to dinner...and a walk.

We have a very nice little AirBnB...on quaint street and neighborhood.

Tomorrow...cook breakfast, pack and get on the train to the Airport.

... we found the restaurant recommended by the hotel manager (Italian this time) and it was fabulous! I decided to explore the culture and ordered up not only a glass of red wine, but I had water-melon and apple gauzpacho with shrimp and then goat cheese crème brulee with a tuscan salad. Although it was a wonderful restaurant, it still wasn't a German one. Who knew it would be so difficult to find a good German restaurant in ...
