An awesome morning, went by train (Thomas the tank engine style) into town to the musical cabinet museum, amazing old musical instruments the best was a piano with 6 attached violins, tiny musical box with a singing bird. Moved onto the Ruedesheimer Schloss hotel for the local coffee delicacy. This was sugar, brandy, coffee & cream, yummy!!!

We obviously missed the sign for the city centre train and ended up walking for ages until we got to an information desk where we were told to go back the way we had come, and downstairs to the S train on platform one. We negotiated the buying of the tickets without a problem but were worried that we were on the wrong train, and how we would know when to ...

... for a look around and then on to the Romer which is the old town square. Finally the train back to the hostel. We ate in again - for 5E each it is nice enough food and there is plently of it. After tea we had a walk through the "Äpple Wine" district were there are Pubs, Clubs and Schisha (?Spelling - I mean water pipes) Bars. Sam was keen to try Guiness so we stopped at the Anglo Irish Pub for a glass (he did just have a sip....or 2) and then walk back to the hostel.
