      Day 42 - Bari Italy

A travel blog entry by ttdaniel on Sep 29, 2014

... our own table at the restaurant. Last time we had shared with the loveable Gwens. The menu is exactly the same as the other MSC ship which is disappointing. We thought all the ships would have their own menus. We decided not to go to the theatre tonight.
We had hoped for a quiet night but we were not fortunate. Both neighbour's were party animals! We set our clocks forward an hour.
Tomorrow we arrive in Katakolon ...

... things: mosquito bites, long car rides, and all the ants (for some reason there are a ridiculous amount of ants near our villa). I’d have a hard time choosing a favorite…the beaches were amazing, the towns were beautiful, and we all had an unforgettable time here. The rest of our time in Arbatax

There are also these giant trees that have really pretty bright pink flowers on them that would fall off and onto the ground. ...

... I had left Brittany. She had gone ahead and got her massage and ever so sweetly changed mine to later that afternoon. I just got changed, did the routine and waited for her in the turkish bath hot tub.

Once Brittany got back from her massage she was as rubbery and relaxed as anything. We sat around in the hot tubs for a bit before we went outside where I laid in the sun and swam and she read Harry Potter in the shade. She was a nerd ...

Our first full day in Arbatax

... pick parts of in addition to the pool and lounging chairs. The routine included rooms with powerful water jets that bore down on you to "massage" you and after they shut off you were to go into a room that had a salt floor (like a giant sandbox). There you were to flop yourself in the salt like a fish and get completely coated in it. Next you went (covered in salt) to the steam room (which Brittany and I couldn't handle the first day but could the others) ...
