Then after crossing the river getting closer to 'Casco Viejo' we were stunned to see the world headquarters of BBVA ( Bank of Biscay) and the headquarters for Iberdrola with its 40 floor glass tower looming above the city.

I'm sitting here in the airport of Bilbao right now, all by my lonesome. Itunes and a Café con Leche aren’t very good company. Traveling alone is definitely not for the faint of heart.
But as I sit here, I am reminded of how grateful I am for all of this. This being my trip here to Spain, the friends I have made, the places I have seen, and the growth I am experiencing.

Transports of delight
... War and the gondola is a recent update. But it is still classed as the oldest transporter bridge in the world. It was interesting to watch cars and pedestrians being moved from one side to the other dangling on the gondola at road level.

... After half an hour walking around the area trying to understand the map (and avoiding the worker as he saw that I didn't go where he said..) I finally realized that I was on the other side of the city.
