We drove from Madrid, got a bit lost trying to find Lurdea. We thought it is a name of a village but it is not it is just the name of the Hotel/Casa Rural.<br><br>The place is amazing. Located in the hills above Bermeo, with magnificent view of the ocean. It is clean (like really clean) and has the air of a relaxing boutique hotel.<br>

... br>Today we are off to Lleida by bus: only a 6 hour ride, but the bus leaves at 10:30pm and arrives at 4:30am. What a scene it will be as we dissemble our bikes at 9pm in the Bilbao bus station and then reassemble them at 4:30am Sunday morning in the Lleida station. <br><br>Next stop: Flores de Vida, an organic farm near Maella, Spain. <br><br>Lessons learned--<br>Take the local metro line or train into the city to avoid crazy highways

... somewhere you want to stay. True is relatively near the tube into the city (a cab ride of about £5) but it's not worth it. We left and didn't pay for the night we stayed there (I'm not sorry).<br><br>We also came to the conclusion that we needed a car so hired one to drive us to San Seb. Spent a another day in Bilbao seeing the obvious Guggenheim.

... I stayed with another woman I met sailing in the Whitsundays, Suzanna. I got to spend some time with her and hang out with her friends, one of them even let me use her bicycle while I was there, which was very nice. We watched two Barcelona soccer matches at pubs in the Gracia area where Suzanna lives. Went out one night til 5am to check out the gay scene there. Met lots of nice, fun people. Dancing way too late into the morning though. Thanks for the hospitality, Suzanna!
