Great for one nite!

came in from Copenhagen at noon - checked into hotel. the shuttle takes only 5 minutes from the airport and leaves every half hour.ugly from the outside, but fine on the inside - the room was great. And the bathroom was spotless. A great place for a short stay. Shutlle to airport (5 minutes) train to Centraal station ( 17 minutes) well worth it!

Basic, mass market hotel under the flight path

A pretty basic and cheap feeling hotel. Full of coach parties and other groups - clearly low cost to holiday companies. If you want a basic hotel that is in the middle of an industrial estate and under the runway then this is the place for you. Great for plane spotters! The room was basic, the bed was cheap and not particularly comfortable. It felt like a two-star hotel or at best bottom three-star. While the hotel staff were polite, they were also quite cold. A taxi they booked and said would be ten minutes arrived forty minutes later.

Avoid this hotel - very rude staff

We stayed at this hotel last week. When we checked in we were told to enjoy the free breakfast in the morning. Upon check out the presented us with a bill for 80€! They also tried to charge us for tax that we had already paid, which they finally removed from the bill after we called the manager, but we were forced to pay for the breakfast. I do not appreciate being lied to and will not stay here again. The hotel was in a disgusting area and the staff was very rude.

What a little gem!

Stayed here quite by accident on our way back from Poland. Schipol airport was closed due to bad weather, so we could not get back to Cardiff. Managed to get a room at this hotel for the night (we were lucky because there were thousands of people stranded). There was a free shuttle, but it was full when we tried to get on it, so rather than wait in the blizzard, we got a cab. When we arrived at the hotel, the staff were extremely helpful, friendly and welcoming. We had no luggage because it was checked in to Cardiff. The member of staff who checked us in provided us with a complimentary pack of toothbrush and toothpaste, which was most welcome. When we saw the room, what a surprise. Very large with two double beds and a small sofa. Lovely bathroom with luxurious toiletries - even a bath sponge and comb. We had a meal in the informal dining room which was reasonable (approx 10 euro), well presented and delicious. We enjoyed our one night here so much, that when we booked to go to Munich in May, we chose this chain.

Excellent Hotel!

After a short flight over from London, I waited outside Schiphol airport for about 5 minutes to wait for the free shuttle to the NH hotel. It was a short 5-10 minute drive to the hotel, and the shuttle was comfortable.

When I got inside the hotel, I went straight to the reception to be greeted by a very polite receptionist. I was given my card for my room, and was thanked for staying with them.

When I got to the room, the first thing I noticed was the amount of spcae that there was! It was very clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was also very clean. The only minor downer was the distance I had to walk from the reception to the room, but I guess this gave me some excercise!!

Despite being so close to the airport, the room was very quiet! If I were to go back to Amsterdam, I would definitely consider going back to this NH!

Excellent stay, Staff second to none, fantastic

Very nice hotel

Hotel was clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was excellent and had great variety. Stayed here as part of a group tour and so can not comment on price.

Overall: WONDERFUL

I was a bit nervous travelling to Amsterdam for the first time. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and very comfortable. There is a free shuttle to the airport you are there within minutes. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience recommend anyone to stay there.

Great place

booked our smokin' trip days before arriving at the schipol a4 - there were 5 of us and we were all looking pretty rough (lots of travelling) when we got there. when we saw the grandure of the lobby we thought they might just kick us straight ou the door! But No, the guy at the reception was sound, he made sure we all had a key each and that we were happy with our rooms. The morning buffet is excellent- unbeleivable selection - my friend over-endulged and then went on to smoke 2 ak47 joints - not a good mix hahahhheheheh -- Great place to stay and the service station opposite is handy too!

excellent hotel room was spotless and the bathroom was unbelievable

very comfortable bed nice furnishing, an all around great hotel the

rate was very reasonable the front desk was very pleasant quite a

change from the dump i stayed in for a lot more money across from the

main station in amsterdam in the future i will stay here and take the

train in to amsterdam for the day and return at night to take advantage

of this great hotel
