... understandably, not one of my favorite places. Gary was thinking about changing his train reservation to an earlier train back to Madrid so he could have more time in Madrid to get to the airport. For the past few days he had been closely monitoring American´s flights and it seemed Madrid non-stop to Dallas, would ultimately be more of a sure thing than Barcelona to JFK, then from some airport in NYC, head to Dallas.

A few more things to add about France

- Cars do some crazy stuff on the roads there. Drivers will be beeping their horns at traffic when there is literally no chance of moving anywhere anyway. They will also park in whatever spot they can find. We saw a number of cars parallel parked with no chance of getting out as the other cars were so close. We also saw a number of cars parked across corners of streets sticking out onto the road every which way.
