First days in Oviedo have been a little weird. The city is supposedly small but I'm still pretty much completely lost wherever I go excluding a few places. Although if you go up to a park above my apartment you can see the snow covered cordilleras (mountains) and it's pretty beautiful. I can't wait until the weather is warmer and less rainy so I can go on hikes. Other than that, I'm just trying to get used to living in ...

There’s ...

... me. He let me out and I went upstairs and ate alone. After breakfast, I got a key from the desk and went down to take a shower and get ready. My goal was to meet them for a tortilla at lunch and then go shopping until 2. I got on the bus and met them right as their lunch started but to my absolute horror there were no tortillas being served. All I wanted was one last chorizo tortilla but no, they wouldn't have any until tomorrow. I was heartbroken and made up ...

... trip and we got pretty good seats which was great because the drive was pretty stunning. Again, not what you really think of as Spanish country side but we basically drove right through green valleys with amazing mountains, sheer cliffs and various small villages tucked into the hills the whole way. Alright!

We got into Oviedo and walked the 10 very hot minutes to our accommodation for the two nights we were there. It turned out the place we were staying was a ...
