My phone suddenly died although I knew I had plenty of battery. Mike was getting annoyed when I bugged him to take pictures. We finished the trail in an hour and a half with 2.5 hours to kill before our bus departure. We answered a survey from a young Japanese woman who was obviously disappointed ...

... sardine tin, so we struggled to sleep well at all. No water supply there. Dinner was served at 4pm then made to go to bunk beds to make space for people arriving later to have their dinner. Tried to go to sleep around 6:30pm. Wake up call was at 2am to hike the rest of the way to the summit for sunrise. We were determined not to get stuck in the queue of people going up to the summit so left before the rush at 1am. We totally missed all the crowds and made it to the summit in good ...
