What an amazing night, it was really an adventure!!!!!!

Tried to go to sleep around 6:30pm. Wake up call was at 2am to hike the rest of the way to the summit for sunrise. We were determined not to get stuck in the queue of people going up to the summit so left before the rush at 1am. We totally missed all the crowds and made it to the summit in good ...

... s call it 'efficient' layout of the hut. One floor was divided in three layers, each which was filled with mattresses and sleeping bags which provided space for a total of about 200 persons. Worst of all, there were twice as many sleeping bags as there were mattresses, so we were all shoulder-to-shoulder packed next to each other. After a quick bite of the most basic of Japanese cuisine (curry rice) we tucked in to make the most of our short night.
