Flight was very full and as planned our seats are very near the back where there are only two together. Once situated we waited for the plane to take off and one in the air dinner was served. I had a beef dinner with potatoes and peas that was very good and Allan had the bin bum bop or whatever it is called. We had given our box of chocolates to the flight crew and found that for some reason we were served first. Movie selection ...

... it's wide but it's still just a street.
The one real positive was that Petie's mate Joline sent us to a bar/cafe which she had worked at near the Bastille. Great food, reasonable prices and efficient, friendly staff, none of whom were French. (What a surprise). And such a French name: The Bottle Shop ( Really!)
After a 10 1/2 hour flight we are now having a wonderful stopover in Incheon, South Korea.
Home tomorrow!

The bus then took us to the open port in Incheon city where we ate lunch together with a choice of rice or udon noodles. Time to head back to the airport as the others on the bus had flights to catch. I think its great how they have these free tours for people who have time to kill at the airport, and I can do a different tour every day for free as I'm staying ...

Seoul Searching

... big cities that rubs us the wrong way. When we came to Korea, seeing another foreigner was an instant bonding experience. We would make eye contact in the middle of crowded Costco, say "hey" and it was like we were immediately friends forever. But, something about big cities is different. We first noticed in Busan, but it was obvious in Seoul. There is no instant connection, not even a "hello" sometimes and some are downright rude. So many of them go about their day and don't ...
