... three hours, meaning that 2.5 of those walked in the rain and strong wind. We arrived at the 5th station around 8:30, totally soaked, tired but our spirit was great
We crashed at the closes restaurant and ordered hot sake to warm up from the inside :) 2 hours later, very merry in our wet clothes we boarded the bus back to Kawaguchi.
What an amazing night, it was really an adventure!!!!!!
8 km walk from walk Magemo to Tsumago.
The guide book and the tourist information centre told me that it would take 3hours to walk it.
However I only had 2, as I got up way to late to actually do this walk. What can I say i did it in 1 1/2 hours :)

Me and 5 of my colleagues, all from different departments, decided to do the classic and most popular version of the climb: follow the 'Yoshida' trail, take a short sleep in a mountain hut at 3100 meters altitude and continue our hike at night to reach the summit in time for sunrise. Half of us were experienced hikers, one was not but was well prepared and the other two... looked more or less as if they were about to go to office. Hmm... ...
