A good trip and at least we got to see Mt Fuji. Must look great in winter when it is covered with snow. There is still some snow on it now, but it is almost summer. Have to admit, we enjoyed just watching the clouds/mist drift all over it, changing the view and occasionally blocking the elusive Mt Fuji from view entitely.

Back to Tokyo tomorrow and we fly out on Wednesday, back in Canberra on Thursday, all being well.

One last post tomorrow.

This was a little bit of a boo boo. I didn't realise when I booked a night near Mt Fuji that it would be such a poo to get to. When looking up the timetables were saying between 5-10 hours to get there. We decided to go straight into Tokyo then back out again and it seemed a pretty simple straight line. It was it just took ages. We had a circle line to Osaka then another line to the Shinkansen station at Shinosaka. Then easy going on the Shinkansen into Tokyo. ...
