... people tee off, get some weird looks as I'm covered in sweat decide to head back down, head into a couple of high speed wobbles and forget that back brake is on the left hand and not the right, almost go ass over tea kettle, arrive back at the hostel in One piece, and return my Speed racer, the hostel staff amazed at how far I went when I pointed it out on the map, with a quick high five I'm off for the next adventure...............stay tuned next stop ...

... grounds is prohibited, but the East gardens of the Imperial complex is open to the public, so we made the most of this. The gardens are picturesque in all the ways you`d expect of a Japanese garden: calm, with a small waterfall flowing into a pool of brightly coloured carp. All this with Tokyo`s impressive urban centre towering in the background, you get a real sense of Japan present and past wandering in the gardens.
Ginza is Tokyo`s answer to Oxford street. We headed there on ...

... and wonder as well about all the human activities that we can spot. On the highest part of the mountain there is a automatic weather station and the top stations around the crater consist of shrines, restaurants for soups and other dishes, a post office and souvernir shops.

The crater gets now very crowded and more and more people arrive from the lower stations. ...

In Fujonomyia we want to deposit our luggage at the station, but the town is small and no such facilities. We try to go to our hotel and they are surprised to see us already today. After the initial shock and explanation of our desire, we can already put the luggage to the room and are positively surprised of the high quality place and the kindness. Even without English we get a great service and depart happily ...
