Gambling is illegal in Japan. But like most laws it has a loop hole. Sadly it comes in the shape of Pachinko. You purchase hundreds/thousands (depending on your level of addiction) of these ball bearings, twist a knob, and watch as they all fall through the pins, and sown the wrong holes. I had a go with 200Yen which gives out a laughable amount of balls - the staff actually laughed at me. My fun lasted 30 seconds and I didn't ...

... it. I don`t think I managed to stay for 5 minuites in my first session. Juraj said he enjoyed himself on the other side, the men did not comunicate at all with him and he said he could hear the women talking through the wall - isn`t this cliche!!

Found a car park somewhere 30km out of Shimonoseki.

Next morning we drove into town. There is not much to do in Shimonoseki apart from the fish ...

... ich - da noch viel Zeit bis zu meinem Zug war - zum Strand zu gehen. Dieser wäre wunderschön gewesen, wenn nur nicht der Wind mir konstant ins Gesicht geweht hätte. So aber verliess ich den Strand nach kürzester Zeit, da es mir schlicht zu stürmisch war. Anschliessend besuchte ich eben noch schnell Teramachi, welches für die vielen Tempel bekannt ist und dann wurde es auch schon bald Zeit für meinen Zug.
