    ... about it. However, Norzin said that we should say something so asked the girl who had brought our luggage up, if she could ask the manager. She came back a few minutes later and we were upgraded to a suite. We had a small lounge on one side and the beds were on the other side. This was the biggest room we have had in Japan so far. Looks like the hotel must have been full if they couldn't offer us a non-smoking room of similar size. Thank you, ...

    We whiled the morning away doing more window shopping after breakfast. We were to catch the train to Tachikawa after lunch as Shigeki and Norzin were meeting us at the Granduo Shopping Centre at 3pm.

    We decided to stick to Kawasaki and wandered around looking for more lens filters. UV filters are so hard to come by now. They only have "protection filters" i.e. multicoated glass ones. Anyway, we bought one more and exchanged another ...

    Hi, We had a very exciting journey on the bullet train to Kyoto. It was amazingly smooth and comfortable, as you couldn't feel the high speeds at all. We stayed a night in capsules, which was a good experience, but we were glad we'd only booked one night!
