During the flight we crossed the International Date Line so Friday became Saturday. As I can't sleep sitting up, I passed the time watching movies or working/playing on my iPad. The plane touched down at Narita Airport at about 17:30 (JST) which is 14 hours ahead of Ottawa, so it felt like 3:30 in the morning. At the airport terminal we followed the crowd to Customs ...

You don't realize how long 12 hours is until you're stuck in a plane for that long without the ability to go for a walk or sit in a bar. First thing you do on a long flight is look for wi-fi. Much more fun to take pictures of the crazy and cool stuff in the windows and the buildings. I did however manage to find an affordable hat....and have a nice lunch. Late one night we caught a little bit of a ...

Ok, so we had a good flight to Tokyo, but once landed and through security, we found out that our Denver leg was delayed due to departure delay from previous flight (that would be when it left Denver to come here) So, our 3 1/2 hour layover was said to now be 4 1/2- 5. We'll see what it ends up as. Nice thing is, we had United Club passes and this Club is very nice. We've had ...
