The Chicago crew is on time thus far....but my flight has been cancelled. So I am now in line as they work to rebook 400 people.....imagine the fun I am having! Especially with the self important man behind me insisting that his itinerary is the most important....obviously. :) Update from Tokyo - After some long and unhelpful time at the United counter, I am rebooked onto everyone else's Chicago flight. From there ...

The dirty mustache? Was this a classic case of racial profiling? You could probably call it that... Now that that madness is over, time to enjoy some Udon noodles and Sake here before we ...

Some Final Notes and a Sad Sayonara to Japan

... to pass by. We stuffed ourselves with street food, consisting of all our favourites from my stay in Japan. Continuing to reminisce, we headed to Narita airport, another hour away still. Hannah and I got to the airport, posted a few letters, ate and then bid each other a lengthy farewell at 7.15pm. The excitement of flying to Australia was initially marred by the sadness of parting with Hannah. I'm on the plane now and its dark and peaceful. I am flying ...
