... DIY bike box which was made with plastic, corrugated cardboard that I purchased from Home Depot. I even made detachable wheels for the base so that I could pull the box along. In addition to my bike, I'm able to put in all my clothes and other gear so that I only check in this one box. I've used this box now for 1 tour in France and three tours in Japan. I'd be happy to show anyone how to make such a bike box. Naturally, there will be questions about such a tour. What ...

If this were Tokyo, they would operate out of a boutique in Ginza and charge you 100 yen for one. After having had the nice lunch at the St. Cousair Winery Restaurant, the inn provided a huge dinner last night which I finished off. Big mistake, as I was stuffed and still felt bloated the next morning. I actually told the innkeeper that I would pass on breakfast. However, by the time I had got my gear already to go, I was feeling a bit better and asked if I could get a couple "onigiri" for the road. These are triangular shaped rice balls, usually with ...

... lucky enough to see one where a guy got choked out and fell asleep standing up (with his opponent on his back) and a flying back kick knockout too. The fans over here are so silent during the matches until something extreme happens and then they start loudly making noises like DOOOHHHH and AHHHHH. There were a few Americans in the crowd and you could hear them clear as a bell due to the silence. It was quite hilarious. Watching the fights live definitely made us keen to ...

... setting and countless perfect food items. This is a must do for anyone near Tokyo. I think there are places where you can order the chanko nabe (stew) on its own but the degustation menu is divine. We slowly waddled on home and started packing as we were heading to Saitama tomorrow. I honestly think that today was my favourite day in Japan in all three trips! Truly so thankful to have the opportunity to travel to this beautiful ...
