    24 hours of traveling is a long day! We made it to Chitose! This is where the kids will be with their host families.

    ... Kyoto. They looked at me and said “yeah, right” and “nobody hitchhikes the freeway to there”. I said goodbye to them in Fuji town, they looked at me like I was a little crazy and gave me big hugs. The roads were small from the Fuji area back to the freeway, about 45 minutes drive.
