This morning we weren't all that unhappy to leave the sheridan arabella in munich as we weren't wearing the correct clothing, black cloth and head gear. We headed off to the castle of Neuschwanstein ( the castle they use in the beginning of Walt Disney ). Was good but guess what we have done the abc and not likely see another, they are beautiful but not our thing. Had lunch at ...

... of our on the road travels, it's not very cultured I admit, but the girls eat everything we have to pay for there and it's cheap as pomme frites - so I can cope with a few visits over these weeks & months. Today was our one and only day in Austria. We didn't have to be at breakfast until 8am so we got to sleep in. But of course I got up at 6am and went on a run around Seefeld(aka the town I'm staying in). Our first stop today was Wilten Basilica. It was beautiful! Next we went to the historic Winter Olympic Games site. We got to see where the ski jumping events took place. We had free time in Innsbruck to walk around and shop. We stopped at the famous Swarovski ...

Today we traveled to Austria. It was a long day once again. We stopped in Liechtenstein for lunch, which was actually kind of a bust. We only had an hour for lunch and we were kinda in the not so pretty part of the country. I would compare it to Portsmouth, Virginia. We had some exploring time and then we all had dinner. One of the differences from the other countries is that boys and girls are ...

    Cat sitting in Innsbruck!

... covered with silk like in the old days, and sometimes I tried to imagine how it would be to live here in the 19th century.

Innsbruck was fun. After two days of hotel I joined my friends apartment and stayed with the cats while they would go on a city trip to London. I then also started to get nervous, I did not find any "affordable" (according to Isabelle's standards) stay for the rest of my holiday here! Lots of charming Pensionen and Zimmer Frei, but all based on a two ...
