Bike Dodging Should Be An Olympic Sport [Day 8]
Amsterdam is a difficult city to give an introduction to. It's a city that lives within its stereotypes, but it also extends far beyond them.
My Friday started at 6:30, so I could finish preparing for the weekend. After a hurried breakfast, we were settled into our respective busses and on the road just after 7:30. ... war story comes to life in tiny rooms and steep, secreted stair cases.
We’re wondering how we will manage the journey to Venlo, having 3 minutes to change trains in Eindhoven but we step off one, walk across the platform and onto the next in under 30 seconds. Sweet! We catch the shuttle to Floriade, buy a couple of rain ponchos and explore the 66 hectares of the World Horticultural Expo held once every 10 years. The flower displays are magnificent ...
