... 3000 year's earlier, because there are lots of buildings that are wonky, either left to right, or front to back, windows, doors and all the above, but they used creative ways to fill in gaps!

Another feature was the outside male, I think only males! Toilet, you have to see the picture, just a round tin enclosure, off the ground, and you just pee on the ground for all to see, there is a drain, unique solution.

Amsterdam was talked about as being the The Festival, attracting the most tallships, the most spectator boats, and the most visitors (more than 2 million). Entering Amsterdam took the best part of a day, there was the pilotage up the river, then the locks and the sail past ceremony. The sight of hundreds of boats cruising up the river, indescribable, and something I don't expect to see again in my life, the photos do not portray the sight we actually saw.

After a great nights sleep, we awoke to breakfast, to start our day we went to see Annake's farm. Fleur entertained us with her singing and eating of snoopee such a sweet girl, she showed us her bedroom that Olma Ton had built for her and Zander's room that had the painters busy. Then we had a tour outside and met the cows, they have such sweet faces, though their new puppy Zeus won my heart and maybe I could try to include him in my luggage home. We then ...

... captain eventually steered a course for the northern end of the Herengracht, by happenstance the very canal where we are staying. At one point, while idling the boat at the side of the canal, he served each of us a glass of champagne, which we sipped while gliding past rows of canal homes and under the many small bridges along the way. With the boat all to ourselves, we truly felt like VIPs, as we tipped our glasses to the many pleasure ...
