Arriving in Basel
We arrived earlier this afternoon in Basel. Flight delayed 30 minutes leaving Houston so had to run to catch plane in Frankfurt. ... we went to the very amusingly named Lake Titisee. This is in the heart of the Black Forest and is the most touristy area. It was a good pick in that it was one of the few places with open shops, restaurants etc. (lots of things were closed over the holiday period) but probably didn’t have the same charm that we found in other places.
