    ... so far.

Newark has three BF seats open and I’d be #1 on the standby list, but the flight leaves at 9:20 a.m., 2:20 before IAD. So I will get some extra sleep and try for IAD at 11:40.

MUC-ORD at 12:20 p.m. tomorrow has three open in Global First and BusinessFirst is oversold by one, meaning there’s only two premium seats open. I’d be #3 on the SA list, so that does not look promising. Let’s hope the nonstop to IAD works out!

    And then we ...

... was another highlight for us. It is is a steep sided gorge with an intense river cutting through it. They cut out a walk way in the rock and it provides the feeling of being a part of wall or a part of the river, seeing nature through a new perspective. It costs 3.50 Euro and you'll pay at the end. You won't regret it!

All in all, this was one of my favorite hikes I've ever done- anywhere!

... very real when you enter the 'room of names'. This room is filled with all the names of people that lost their lives. This puts a very harsh reality on the number that you heard earlier. 84,000 deaths at the hands of the Nazi's. 200,000 people were housed there at one stage and it wasn't really that big of an area. Walking in to the gas chambers was terribly confronting. Such a small space too. ...
