Very nice receptionists and a good location. The room is what you might expect from the hotel of this standard.

La quantites de choses que j'ai apprise, les idees que j'ai acquises et surtout les gens que j'ai connu ont fait de ce voyage un moment inoubliable ! I just left Milano where I took my last course of coffee and I loved it ! I'm actually very sad to leave this beautiful country and all my friends here, who knows when I will see them again? but it's now time ...

... You can see in the picture how cute our little coffee's were. We found an open table that had two chairs and was an old wine barrel. I have been known to exaggerate some...but I am being 100% honest when I say that this was the BEST coffee either of us had ever had in our lives! Gas Station coffee?? Italy you really have your coffee game on point.

Amazing brushwork and huge alter pieces some with bible stories that were new to me. Spent arvo wandering lanes and canals. Pizza at same restaurant. ...

... Castle. They specialize in Ligurian cuisine and I was looking forward to having a good Pesto meal for a change. Their Facebook page indicated that they opened at 18:45 but that time passed and the restaurant was still dark. I waited until after 19:00 before starting to search for another restaurant.

By this time I was really starting to get hungry, so was willing to put up with one of the overpriced tourist traps along Via ...

... near the car park with cannons going off which made me and Ness jump and one poor little lad had his fingers stuck in his ears while balling his eyes out. I felt his pain.

The sat nav did better than in Trieste getting us into Milan. We were very impressed with ourselves. The New Moon resort hostel where we were staying didn't look like we thought it would and was much quieter. We were glad how early we got there to give us plenty of time to do a bit of sightseeing ...
