... We, the other three, decide we should drive to a "nearby" beach. It's about 5 klms away so off we go. Before you know it I'm confidently driving down a one way. The wrong way. Minor problem. We're on our way. Paul has the map in the back. Lisa is asking if he can see such and such street. Paul says "Do you see anything that starts with a K". The street signs are in Latin and Ćirilic when they're there. We get lost and found and lost again. Leaving ...

Our ship was Rhapsody of the Seas of the Royal Caribbean cruise line and we would ...

        Weather: glorious. Slip, slop, slap.
6.30am arrived at the Island of Crete where we disembarked at Ag. Nikolaos (means Saint Nicholas) where Olive Oil products are paramount. The Cretan diet is known as one of the healthiest diets in the world (1/3 largest).
We did a tour of the Palace of Knossos where the Monoan Civilization thrived in the Bronze age (roughly 3,000 BC) within the Aegean. The palace was ...

... exchange a few memories of Aaron’s grandad and laugh at what a funny man he was. Aaron takes a photo of his beer and the mixed meat grill plate and mentions he ordered it because A.C. was a butcher, very thoughtful and appropriate. So we sit back, enjoy our meal together before we retreat back down to the beach for our last 40 or so minutes before the bus comes.

I smash out a few more up and backs in the water and realise it’s time to dry off and head back ...
