Jelenia Gora & Magical Mountains

... Mountains is part of the larger Sudetes range. Its highest peak is Sniezka which stands on the border between the Poland and Czech Republic - at a height of 1602 meters above sea level. The mountains are wonderful for trekking and ski. Large areas of the mountains are preserved as National Park.

The center of Dresden ...

... little tent (and man, do I mean little) is not only really really little, but it is also really waterproof. And I can honestly say that it is actually a decent tradeoff. But actually, my whole point is to answer a question that has come up a few times: What am I reading when I stretch out at night in our really really teeny tine tent? I find that good books are like gold when traveling. Despite their weight, I try to always have at ...

This remarkable wooden chapel was built at the turn of the 12th century on the bank of Lake Wang in southern Norway, and sold to a Prussian king in 1841 because it was too small for the local congregation. It was carefully dismantled piece by piece before being shipped to Berlin, and then Karpacz (a part of Germany at the time) where it was reassembled over a period of two years. It is the ...

So 4 loads of washing, one dryer, charged by the hour, and its 14 degrees so not the best weather for drying. Washing really has become a obsession of mine, it's a war, you have to focus and be ruthless with all your competitors, this is not about making friends people, this is about survival of the fittest).
