Sometimes you wake up and just don't feel like going to work and sometimes it's the same with a bike. Then you have to remind yourself that actually it is a great privilege to be able to ride a bike all day and not go to the office.

... going on. I loved the Italian cover band that managed a repertoire spanning Lady Gaga, Bon Jovi and Rage Against the Machine. All sung in a mix of English and Italian!

... chatted with the British lady. She informed us that we could get our daily gelato fix from the bar next door, so naturally within 5 minutes of her saying that, we each had gelato in our hand. This sparked an interesting conversation of what fruit goes best with chocolate (obviously strawberries), but we left it open to be decided on later.
This day was indeed as uneventful as it sounds, which is perfect because tomorrow we're going to MILANO!!!
... there are only two McD's, compared to the multiples that are in English towns - which might explain a few things.
There is confetti on the floor around the town. I ask if somebody had been married recently but I am told that the children throw this for Carnevale, I missed the celebrations by a matter of days - still there is always next year.
