Presumably the Pope permanently borrowed it from the Turks. They should permanently borrow his pope mobile and show him how it feels. Ephesus
... lunch, included in the price of the tour so eat up, and we were on the bus to the "House of the Blessed Virgin Mary" or so we thought. We pulled into an manufacturer of one of the local goods - leather. We were shepherded in, the lights were dimmed, iced tea distributed and the fashion show began. Very nice - see photos. (We were glad we were not chosen from the crowd as impromptu models. Obviously far too young, beautiful and trim - or my hawaiian board shorts ...

So now I've caught the ferry to Greece this morning. I'm on an island called samos, and I was hoping to go directly to Mykonos, but it turns out I have to go to athens first then back to Mykonos. Pretty annoying and it means a bit of a blow to my wallet!
