The old hotel, but with nice updated features. It was in good location in the heart of town. Parking on the street, but not an issue to find a spot.

Today was all about Mansfield. After a nice breakfast we drove into town. First stop was the cemetery where Laura, Almanzo and Rose were buried. Yet I was losing momentum on my travels and struggling to take the next step. Strange, but it's as though the approaching inevitability of the trip terminus took over my mind, bringing me down. It's entirely possible that I can’t do this forever.

... When I got to the top I saw a few people up at the look out point already. Didn't think anything of it. When I got closer I realized it was four college kids. Couldn't be older than 20. They had a large knife and a case of beer and were "shotgunning" the beer. For anyone who doesn't know what that is, you take a can of beer, ...

Alright...today's joke comes from special guest contributor Tim:

Why does the Mississippi River flow south from Minnesota?
    Because Iowa sucks
