... minds took us over to have a look! I saw the most ridiculous public toilet, taking 'public' to a whole completely new level, there, and I also saw Dad go all penguin yet again for the raw fish stand. That was Mum's first experience seeing that look of joy sweep over his face since she's been here, as he guzzled down the fish, pickle and raw onions. With a few more photos taken here I headed off towards the ferry terminal but then went on to fill my tank at the nearby petrol station. After a disaster a few years ago when I got off the ferry in Newcastle and realised I never had enough fuel to get home I had to search for miles to find a filling station and so i always fill it before boarding the ferry.
As it was only 14h30 and the ferry only leaves at 17h30 I decided to go and do my usual and that was to have ...

... pesto and roasted tomatoes. Local cheese plate and white chocolate parfait to end. Fabulous. And then we walked the Red Light District to see what it was all about, As you would expect, full of people bustling about, curious, lots of tourists here, many from the UK. A wonderful stay in a wonderful city. Tomorrow we are off to the airport and get in to Ottawa Sunday night. We'll have at least one more blog to wrap things up! M & ...
