    ... which for those unsure of what that is, a falafel is a pita filled with chick pea meatballs, without any meat. Lots of spices are added to give it some flavour. Several falafel balls are placed in the pita along with veggie toppings and sauces.     ... completely unseasoned and bland. It came with fries (which were delicious) and salad (a bowl of lettuce with chopped cucumbers, no dressing). After dinner Nate was finishing the beer and all of a sudden a white cat jumped up onto the bar stool next to me! It's an open front place and the bartender said it's not their cat but they can't keep her out. She's someone's - she's clean and has a collar and is super friendly, she hung out with us for awhile and then made the rounds. So ...

    Sitting here on the train to Enkhuizen and thought I'd share a few observations. There's a few things that strike you in the Netherlands. Firstly, the number of bikes, they are everywhere and you must keep an eye out for cyclists whenever you are walking about. The cyclists seem to have, or have assumed, right of way so if you hear the sound of a bell behind you, step aside and don't raise the ire of the local cyclists. They are also on the opposite ...
