This morning I woke, took the lift to the lower level and stepped out by the pool to watch the sunrise over the beach and shine through the palm trees. My photos do not do it justice... It was stunning. I then hit the gym for an hour or so, training shoulders and chest. Paul joined me a little later. We were so ecstatic to finally have access (and time) to hit the gym. Especially one like this, the equipment may be old and well used ...
... hadn't known they were meant to be checking out today! So it was interesting explaining to the new girls that although it was great to have them, there would be two girls coming back who would be a little annoyed to find they'd been ejected from the room! But it all worked out eventually and they found a new room for the ...
... the tram tour got underway, the tour guide and the driver/wildlife sighter held a little orientation. One of the things they made a point about was that it doesn't matter where you sit on the train, they will make sure to slow down and let everyone get a look at/picture of anything interesting along the way.
Ha! If you ever get down here to take the tour, be sure to sit in the 2nd row of seats behind the driver. The tour guide kept ...

We went on all the Harry Potter rides and loved all of them. We also tried some butterbeer, which was delicious and Cat met Moaning Myrtle in the bathroom. After I dragged Cat away from Harry Potter, we went to Jurassic Park then onto some water rides which we got drenched on. Finally we arrived at Ben's favourite ride: Spiderman ...

Historical Traveler Reviews Hotel Nash Llc Miami Beach
Enjoyed our stay, fair value
We enjoyed ourselves. A little loud, but so is every place on Collins. Staff isn't the most friendly, but it's not like they ignore you or don't get what you need. The room is nice, though no closet space. Great bar and the pool area was fun to sit and relax in. Fair value for what we paid.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Nash ... great boutique hotel
We stayed at the Nash in early October and were very impressed with the hotel. The staff were not overly friendly but pleasant enough. The room was great, very modern, clean, white duvets, with modern tv and cd player. We stayed in one of the garden rooms and it was a good size with double bed and chair. Bathroom was fantastic with a great double stainless steel shower. The 3 spa pools were lovely after we figured out how to turn on the jets! This was our first time in south beach and the location was ideal. One block back from the beach and close to all the restuarants, bars, and clubs, but far enough away that you don't get lots of noise. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again if we return to miami.
Beautiful, Clean, Friendly Staff!
Hotel Nash was so much more than what I had expected. The pictures you see online, are exactly what you get. Clean rooms, spacious enough, clean white linens, clean bathrooms. Any request we had was immediately taken care of by the staff.
I don't see what more anyone could ask for. Great location on top of that too. One block off the beach. Few blocks to all the hot clubs and bars. Three lovely spa pools which we took full advantage of. We walked passed tons of our hotels, and my girlfriend went into a few of them, and Hotel Nash was hands down the nicest. Without thinking twice I would stay here again!!
Art Deco at its Best!
My partner and I spent a weekend at Hotel Nash in South Beach and we were extremely impressed with the decor and style of the hotel and rooms. Very eclectic. Bring along a CD with Chillout music and pop it into the stereo they provide in your room, dim the lights, kick off the shoes, and this makes for a great romantic stay. Appealing to both gay and hetero couples. It truly makes South Beach feel as beautiful and exciting as it should be. Right around the corner is a legendary gay club called "Twist", known to be very cruisy and have hot male dancers. Makes it convenient to be just a block away. A must try !!!
We go to South Beach every year and try to stay somewhere different each time. The Nash generally had good reviews but we were disappointed from the minute we arrived. The front desk clerk didn't acknowledge our arrival or look up until we "ahem'd" him. We were advised that check in was not until 3, so he did not check us in... although it wasn't crowded so I'm sure our room was ready anyway.
Hotel Nash is #1
I always stay at the Hotel Nash when in Southbeach. I love the location - and the staff is completely awesome, they know the area well and are so helpful in finding the best shopping and dining. I will not stay at another hotel in Sobe!!
Great Location but Robot Staff
The hotel is situated at a great location just one block away from the strip and the beach. The rooms are clean and spacious enough. Although the staff responded to our requests, they had no expressions of happiness, joy, sadness, or nothing. This hotel is just average but if you are looking for location and a bit of quietness then its ok. The question is what do you expect for $130 to $160 per night?
I've read reviews and stayed multiple times, and each time wonder why....The staff are AWFUL.....and contrary to a recent posting it does not matter if you are straight or gay.....there are indescriminate in how AWFUL they are....they are impersonal, unprofessional and rude. The Nash is not about customer service in any respect. The rooms are adequate, but showing wear and tear and incredibly noisy...........A recent stay included having family members in the Duplex, which was not clean, and had dysfunctional AC... the front desk were rude andu unhelpful when alerted to the deficiencies. I immediately moved my party and I to The Tides which for approximately the same rate provided friendly professional, attitude free staff, first class service and gracious accomodations. At the rate at which properties turn over in South Beach if I owned the Nash I would look carefully at the AWFUL staff!!!!!!!!!
Hetrosexual's beware !
Great hotel, location is exellent ... art deco building refurbished with taste. but... front staff are very strange. If you're not gay...don't expect that great level of service you would expect from other quality hotels. Seems they don't like hetro-sexual invading there space. At least that's what we felt. Basically, great hotel but without the smiles and greetings !
Loved the Hotel Nash!
This was our first night in Miami Beach. We were only staying at the Hotel Nash for one night before we explored the Keys. I was very impressed with the hotel. The aromatherapy throughout the hotel was very soothing. The shower in our room with the rain-shower shower-head was Great! along with the mint/sage shampoo and condition and rosemary body cream. The bed was very comfortable. The 3 pools outside the hotel with whirlpool jets were very refreshing! It is located only one block from the beach! We will definately be returning!
