      ... the minority and usually students. It didn't help that we couldn't speak or even decipher the cyrillic characters of their language.

      We enjoyed our evening out in the "city." Although it was only one day, we discovered a charm to Slovakia with its sleepy villages and deserted highways. Hopefully, we get a chance to visit again and hike through some of the highly touted trails before the country becomes just another tourist destination.

      We were with Chews for the bus/walking tour of Vienna. We saw all of the gorgeous buildings, palaces, museums, churches and parks. One really cool thing we saw was the Lipizzaner stallions in the stables. One was looking out at us. We also saw Mr. Garfield, a very fat cat!Then the four of us explored on our own.       ... down then guns it up the hill leaving us teetering on the tip of a muddy bog then puts just enough juice on to send us over the top and down the other side in an absolutely terrifying experience.       ... so worth it for the great views (not to mention the free wine!). After the boat cruise we went to a nearby bar called Instant. Instant is a ruin bar which is a huge trend in Budapest of turning old ruins into modern bars and I really liked it. Others went onto a rooftop bar but after such a long day (and wearing extremely painful new shoes) I returned to the hostel for a good sleep.
